Cisco Architect
Our customer is looking for a Full Time Cisco Architect with Datacenter experience to work out their Seattle, Washington office. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of Cisco Experience. Location: Seattle, WA
Objective: The Cisco Architect will work as a Pre-Sales Technical Architect as well as technical partner in the Cisco space for the Washington, California, and Oregon areas.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Cisco practice for the companies Area clients.
- Work with engineering, management and the sales teams in the development of architecture, sales strategy, productization, pricing, and proposal generation for professional services.
- Work closely with Area Sales Managers responsible for prospecting, qualifying, presenting, and selling Cisco solutions.
- Prepare and configure Statement of Work as well as Notice of Engagement’s for customers and all of the Account Managers.
- Main liaison between the company and the Cisco solutions.
- Work with Area Delivery Manager and Consultants to assure the company readiness to deliver given practice solutions.
- Responsible for Cisco Marketing Events, Vendor Relations, and Account Executive Education on Cisco solutions.
- Provide technical sales support for the Account Managers and develop solution proposals for customers based on their technical and business requirements.
- Act as a prime point of contact with the Client for all technical issues during the all pre-sales phases including addressing design and proposed integration concerns and pricing.
- Interface with internal cross-functional teams and external third party vendors to ensure on-time delivery of technical proposals to customers and accuracy of designed solution.
- Continually provide input on enhancing internal presales processes and develop new processes to create a more efficient workflow.
- Create and deliver sales training plans to ensure account executives are enabled to sell latest Unified Communications, Collaboration, and Video technologies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with peers at vendor partners.
- Track technology specific pipeline for upcoming deals and services opportunities.
- Remain current on the latest technologies that align to our business initiatives.
- Exceptional client relationship skills working with enterprise level customers
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco solutions including but not limited to Networks systems, Datacenter, Unified Communication, Mobility, and Wireless, Security and its implication and importance on business decisions is essential.
- 3 years of Cisco pre-sales/engineering experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience working for a Cisco UC, UCCE, or Telepresence ATP infrastructure vendor, consultant or Integrator.
- Experience with Statement of Work preparation and writing.
- Excellent business management skills in achieving and exceeding the revenue goals for Cisco Practice.
- Strong customer, sales and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinking and change management skills.
- Experience with Cisco Borderless Networks or Data Center technologies like UCS is a plus.
- Cisco ICM Enterprise development and deployment experience
- Cisco IP Dialer development experience
- Cisco Email Manager development experience
- Cisco Unity Architecture deployment and support preferred
- CISCO IP-IVR Application Design, Development, and support
- CISCO ICM Solution Architecture and Integration Design
- CISCO ICM Script Design and Deployment
- CISCO CVP Solution Architecture and Integration Design
- CISCO CVP Application Design and Development
- ICM Enterprise script, design, deployment experience
- Ability to work in a delivery support environment that involves structured processes and timelines
- Experience with a disciplined development methodology and release management process
- Demonstrated ability to perform complex problem isolation within LAN/WAN Networks
- Demonstrated ability to perform complex problem isolation within Server hardware platforms
- Demonstrated ability to perform complex problem isolation within OS Platforms- WinNT/2K, Unix, Linux
- Demonstrated ability to perform complex problem isolation within Database systems
- Experience with CISCO data model and reporting, DB optimization/performance tuning, SQL
- H.323, SIP and/or MGCP integration experience with UCCE Solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (technical documentation and client communication)
- Ability to travel up to 35%.
Certifications / Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- CCIE (Lab and Written) certification is required.
- CCIE Voice or Voice Written is desirable. Must be on track to obtain this certification within 60 days of employment.
- Cisco CCNP-Voice certification is highly desired.
